What is the Sustainable Development Goals Act, and why should it matter to you?

Nova Scotia has officially launched its public engagement on its new Sustainable Development Goals Act and Climate Plan—with the help of R&G’s development team, who designed and built the platform for engagement, CleanFuture.ca in collaboration with the Clean Foundation.

Head over to the website to share your thoughts, your input will help guide the province’s Climate Change Plan for Clean Growth and the new goals under the Act to advance Nova Scotia’s economic, social, and environmental wellbeing.

This is your chance to flaunt your policy prowess and help shape a more equitable and sustainable future for our province. Whether you think the province should focus on energy efficiency retrofits for low-income homes, increasing the amount of accessible public transportation, or supporting access to green job opportunities—your ideas will inform our collective sustainable prosperity.

We’re delighted to have work on a project that enables us all to actively shape the future wellbeing of our province.

HERE’S HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE:

CLICK HERE to visit the website, submit your ideas and even sign up for a virtual workshop. The 60-day consultation ends July 27.
