SolarAssist provides the tools and information to help Nova Scotians discover their home’s solar potential, return-on-investment scenarios and available rebates for their home electricity needs.
Nova Scotia is a national leader in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and adding more solar electricity to the grid helps in fighting climate change. The Nova Scotia Department of Energy and Mines and Clean Foundation challenged us to develop an easy-to-use online tool to help Nova Scotians discover their home’s solar potential along with a new brand to tie it all together.
Working closely with the partners on the project, we created a comprehensive brand experience for SolarAssist that is clean, approachable and professional. The platform utilizes users location, weather data, and information given for a particular home to calculate individualized solar energy generation potential along with available solar incentives, rebates and programs.
